We teach the following National Safety Council courses Standard First Aid CPR/AED Designed for emergency response teams, safety personnel, supervisors, individuals requiring certification and the general public, this course teaches how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants; identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden illness and injury and preventing disease transmission. This course meets the 2010 CPR and ECC Guidelines and meets OSHA standards for first aid in the workplace. (5.75 hours) CPR/AED Designed for emergency response teams, safety personnel, supervisors, fire, police, ambulance, healthcare providers, airline employees and lifeguards, this course teaches how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants; provides tips on heart disease prevention, scene control, patient assessment, CPR integration, AED application and protocol adherence. This course meets the latest 2010 CPR and ECC Guidelines. (3. 5 hours) First Aid Designed for emergency response teams, safety personnel, supervisors and the general public, this course teaches how to respond to breathing emergencies, identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden illness and injuries and techniques for preventing disease transmission. (3.5 hours) Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED Designed for childcare providers, early childhood educators/students, youth organizations and parents, this course covers breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants and children, identifying and caring for common age-related injuries and preventing childhood illnesses. This course meets 2010 CPR and ECC guidelines. (6 – 7.5 hours) Bloodborne & Airborne Pathogens Designed for individuals who may come in contact with infectious materials as part of their job as responders, healthcare professionals, lab technicians, dentists, dental hygienists, fire, police, ambulance, EMS, etc., this course addresses issues in disease transmission, prevention, universal precautions, exposure control, labeling, exposure determination and influenza pandemic. (2+ hours) |
